The Samsung Galaxy S 2 is Samsung’s flagship, top-of-the-line phone for 2011. The Galaxy S 2 features a huge 4.3″ Super AMOLED Plus display, a dual core 1.2GHz Exynos processor with a full 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, plus 1080p video recording with the 8MP camera. It has a large 1650mAh battery, so battery life should be fantastic. It’s running the latest version of Android, 2.3 Gingerbread.
First impressions? The Galaxy S 2 device is extremely thin…in fact, it’s the thinnest smartphone we’ve ever tested at just 8.5mm. It’s also quite light, but it still feels high quality.
We’ll have full coverage of benchmarks, battery life, web browsing performance and more coming up soon. So far, web browsing feels faster than on any other device.
