yes I still used this phone! one problem is I just tried to install snap seed and it installed but then when I went to use it it wanted me to update to latest google it was not optional update. However when I click update to the latest version of Google+ it says the app isn't compatible with your device anymore. Contact the developers for more info. So I guess I can't use snap seed. I like this phone due to the size and how easy it is to text and read on.

I miss this form factor (and the note 3)

Im really not a fan of the new curved norm nowadays. I wish the front of the phones are still flat like they were back in the days. I never understood why it became popular in the first place. It's annoying to hold and look at imo.

I used mine up til 2017. Got it when it first came out and ditched it when it finally stopped holding charge and over heating. My niece and nephew used it as a play phone until it somehow got lost. Lol.

    Blame yourself

I still have this phone released in 2012 and bought in 2012 and still have it and barely works but games work 8/10 surprisingly and the camera does not work and the speaker does not work and so does the calling mini speaker and lags alot on lockscreen and works good on homescreen

Still using the Samsung galaxy s3 neo in 2020 😂😂 I have dropped it a thousand times and there are no scratches, also it doesn't lag that much… only problem is the outdated android and the battery is pretty much dead after 6 years of usage (which is understandable)

i ship my galaxy s3 mini used phone from a site. and it comes in the next week and its a very cool phone its really worth it! I can download apps for jellybean not all compatible, but the older version of fruit ninja 100% works on it 🙂 and instagram and facebook. I love t he new phones too, but the old s3 mini has phisical button on it and not so big screen.

    1. It has a bigger screen than the iPhone SE 2020
    2. It can run MCPE 1.1.5.1 In 60FPS on high.
    3. You can repair/buy it for dirt cheap.
    4. YouTube works, 4G, Some more intensive Programs and Games.
    5. Looks Beautiful
    6. Smooth System work (Android 4.X)
    7. Durable Brick
    8. Perfect phone for Parents and will learn how to use it in 2 days.

I remember my old LG phone which was below 5 inch screen size and it felt more easy to use and use comfortably within my hands! Now though I am using a 6.4" phone which is quite cool as a replacement for my tablet for my Games and watching movies, the old phone screen felt more suited as a phone, now its more of a phablet experience. I prefer tablets for big screens. The phone I have now acts as tablet and phone as my iPad got down recently , so win win. Still miss the old phones though, maybe its just the nostalgia…..

The Samsung Galaxy SIII is my dream phone way back in 2015 and I was able to buy it after 8 years since I was poor my dad did not buy this for me. I was able to buy it for my self for a cheaper price. This phone is the most public spoken smartphone in the history way back in 2012. I loved it Jelly bean version.

I used it as a backup phone. My s3 is still useful, my mom phone cracked and while we are waiting for this whole covid thing to subside, she had no problem using it. Its just for communication and light browsing anyway

My S3 4G (i9305) had 2GB RAM. Lasted late 2013 to early 2017 (bricked itself). Touchwiz was horrendous. I remember everyone having this.

I got my S3 in 2012 and I'm finally looking to retire it in 2012 lol. I'm the kind of person that invests most of my tech-budget and time into my desktop PC so having a great computer has always been a way bigger priority to me than my phone
